Larry E. Roberts LG, LHG | Director

Larry founded TechSolve Environmental, Inc. in 1998. He has over 35 years of experience conducting environmental, geologic, and hydrogeologic investigation and remediation projects. As a Licensed Geologist and Hydrogeologist, he has performed hydrogeologic studies throughout Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, California, and Texas to evaluate potential impacts from a wide variety of contaminant sources on soil, groundwater, and surface water quality. Larry has completed numerous state and federal Superfund remedial investigation/ feasibility study (RI/FS) and remediation projects. His experience includes projects at wood-treating facilities, bulk fuel terminals, refineries, catastrophic pipeline ruptures, service stations, landfills, drycleaners, nuclear fuel facilities, and railroad maintenance yards. He has extensive experience with geochemical “forensic fingerprinting” techniques, including state-of-the-art methodologies for hydrocarbons developed by the American Petroleum Institute (API).

Larry has also conducted public water supply investigations and oversaw preparation of the Groundwater Management Plan for Vashon-Maury Island. He is also experienced with facilitating multi-party/stakeholder workgroups and served as Project Coordinator for the Harbor Island Soil and Groundwater Potentially Responsible Parties (PRP) Group. Larry provides litigation support services and offers valuable client support through strategic planning and regulatory negotiations.

Dion Valdez, CHMM | Senior Scientist

Dion has over 30 years of environmental consulting experience. She has participated in a wide variety of projects, including Phase I environmental site assessments (ESAs), UST decommissioning site assessments, soil and groundwater site investigations, and regulatory compliance audits. She also provides technical support for other Project Managers with services such as data validation, regulatory research, report writing and editing, and preparation of data and documents for litigation support projects.

Dion has conducted over 200 Phase I ESAs and contributed to completion of over 50 more sites throughout the Pacific Northwest. These sites include industrial and commercial properties, municipal facilities, and vacant land. Dion has also completed assessments of transportation corridors, which involved assessment of numerous sites along road and rail line segments many miles in length.

Erik I Lottsfeldt, LG | Project Manager

Erik is a Licensed Geologist and has over 30 years of experience in the field of environmental consulting, including Geographic Information System (GIS) administration and deployment; clean-up coordinator for various Federal and State remediation sites; RI/FS report preparation; spill response; installation of soil borings and monitoring wells; sampling of soil, groundwater, and sediment; groundwater remediation; field site supervision; vapor extraction system installation; aquifer testing; graphic presentation of boring logs; geologic cross sections; and map generation and data query deployment with ArcGIS.

Lynn Roberts | Administrative Manager

Lynn has been with TechSolve from the beginning. She supports everyone on our team by performing bookkeeping support, AutoCAD document editing, report editing, project research, and contractor and vendor coordination. She provides value and contributes to the success of each project by conducting the essential organization, administration, or research.
