Bulk Fuel Terminal/Harbor Island Superfund Site, Seattle, WA
For over 26 years, TechSolve has provided ongoing environmental services at this petroleum bulk storage facility. Activities are conducted under an Agreed Order and have included multiple investigations and remedial actions. Remediation methods have consisted of soil excavation, soil vapor extraction, air sparging, groundwater extraction, diffused air stripper treatment, and free product recovery. In addition, TechSolve provides ongoing groundwater monitoring and operation and maintenance of remediation systems. We also provide consulting services on an as-needed basis to address specific issues that arise, such as evaluating potential environmental impacts from off-site activities, dredging, construction of a new sea wall, and tidal fluctuations.
Based on our deep knowledge of the terminal and the Harbor Island environment, TechSolve has been retained by multiple sequential owners of the facility. We are proud to have been repeatedly selected to continue providing a variety of environmental services at this site.
